Puffin mosaic Picture. The puffin parts of the picture are made from porcelain clay. I have cut them out and painted them with underglaze. I have also painted some sheets of clay with underglaze colour to use for the mosaic and all of these are fired in my kiln. The fired puffin etc is then glued to my mosaic base and I hand cut all the surrounding pottery pieces with some vintage pottery.This is finally grouted and ready to hang in a picture grouping or special place in your house.They measure 22.5x17.5 cm
I like seaside themed pictures because I live on Anglesey and there are puffins on Puffin Island off the coast by Beaumaris.
